Coming to iOS

You are not bad at pickleball. You just cannot see yourself play.

Film one shot on your phone. Dinklix maps your body with a pose skeleton, puts it next to ideal form, and hands you a plain-English list of exactly what to fix. It reads your body, not the ball. No score, no rating.

Early access. Then $39.99 a year, 3 days free. Cancel anytime.

Your skeleton, tracked frame by frame on your own footage.

Here is exactly what it does

Form analysis software for pickleball. You film the shot, it shows you the motion, and it names the fix. No full matches, no minute meter, no upload waits.

1

Film one shot

On your phone. Ten seconds, from the side. One serve or one drive, not a whole match.

2

See your skeleton

We map your motion with a pose skeleton drawn over your own footage, next to ideal form.

3

Get your fix list

A plain-English list of what to work on, in order, with one thing to start with.

Every other pickleball app watches the ball. Dinklix watches you.

The popular apps score your match: shot speed, depth, placement, a rating. Useful, but it tells you what happened, never what your body did to make it happen. Nobody else shows you your own motion. That gap is the whole point of Dinklix.

The other apps

They tell you what happened.

  • Ball speed, depth, and placement
  • Shot counts and a skill rating
  • A number you cannot act on

Dinklix

It tells you what your body did.

  • Your shoulder turn, weight transfer, and contact point
  • A named, physical fix, in order
  • One thing to work on first

Honest about what it sees

What it reads

Your body mechanics: stance and athletic base, shoulder and hip rotation, weight transfer, contact point and height, swing path, and your finish.

What it does not read

Paddle-face angle, spin, or where the ball landed. If your camera angle hides something, the report says so instead of guessing.

We will never give you a score out of 10.

Rating a human being out of 10 is the thing these apps get most wrong. One reviewer fed a golf swing analyzer a video of Tiger Woods and it returned a 7.5. A number that ranks the best player alive below an amateur is not a measurement, it is a decoration. You get a list of what to change, in order, and a note about what your camera angle hid.

It works on every shot

From the serve to the soft game, each read against what good form actually looks like.

Questions

Is Dinklix an AI app?

Yes. It uses computer vision to find your joints in every frame of your clip, draws that skeleton over your own footage, and writes a plain-English breakdown of what your body did. What it will not do is give you a score out of 10. A number never fixed anyone’s serve.

What does it cost?

It is 39.99 dollars a year, with the first 3 days free. You can cancel anytime in Settings. A full year costs less than one hour with a private coach in most of the country.

Which shots can I analyze?

Serve, return, forehand and backhand drives, the third-shot drop, dinks, volleys, and overheads. It reads the body mechanics of each.

Do you train on my videos?

No. Your clip is yours. It stays private to your account, and you can delete it whenever you want.

How should I film it?

One shot, about ten seconds, filmed from the side so the camera sees your profile. The side angle reveals weight transfer, swing path, contact, and balance.
